Wireless syncing between your iPhone and iTunes.

Ever thought how to sync between your iPhone and iTunes applications? You can enable wireless transfers of almost anything from ringtones, music to videos. There’s a different procedure to be followed. So now you can break the ties in between and let your iPhone free from iTunes.

  • The first thing to be done is to open your iTunes and connect your iPhone using the normal USB connector.
  • Your iPhone will appear in the side bar and when it starts to sync, just click on it to bring forward the summary page.
  • Just check out the option ‘Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi’ as shown in the fig.
  • Now click on to apply and then disconnect your iPhone.
  • For the wireless sync to start its job, it’s required that you plug it into a power source. Do that now and start noticing that your iPhone gets instantly connected with the iTunes and starts syncing. The status can be verified through the spinning circle in the status bar.
  • Now go back to your iTunes and you will find that the iPhone is still connected though you can’t see any physical connections.
  • Now if you check the ‘Manually Manage Music and Videos’ box, you can see that items can be dragged and synced to your iPhone wirelessly also.
  • If you want to start manual iTunes syncing from your iPhone, go to settings > general > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync’.

Now tap on ‘Sync Now’ and start noticing the status bar to get the details of the data getting transferred between your iPhone and iTunes. Syncing is a process that takes place in the background without causing any hindrances to your usual routines like attending or making calls, working or emailing. So now enjoy the syncing process between you iPhone and iTunes.
