Apple has issued a firmware update for its professional-grade Thunderbolt Display. Update 1.1 brings minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
This updates addresses a fan noise issue affecting a small number of Apple Thunderbolt Displays and improve stability. The updater application will be installed in the Utilities folder inside the Application folder and will be launched automatically when you close this installer.

The update can be downloaded directly from Apple’s website or found in software update. Apple’s 27-inch Thunderbolt Display retails for $999.
