- The first thing to be done is to open your iTunes and connect your iPhone using the normal USB connector.
- Your iPhone will appear in the side bar and when it starts to sync, just click on it to bring forward the summary page.
- Just check out the option ‘Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi’ as shown in the fig.
- Now click on to apply and then disconnect your iPhone.
- For the wireless sync to start its job, it’s required that you plug it into a power source. Do that now and start noticing that your iPhone gets instantly connected with the iTunes and starts syncing. The status can be verified through the spinning circle in the status bar.
- Now go back to your iTunes and you will find that the iPhone is still connected though you can’t see any physical connections.
- Now if you check the ‘Manually Manage Music and Videos’ box, you can see that items can be dragged and synced to your iPhone wirelessly also.
- If you want to start manual iTunes syncing from your iPhone, go to settings > general > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync’.
