The famous online business and financial channel, Bloomberg TV announced on Tuesday that it is going to broadcast the 24hr channel through the iPad. Bloomberg has gone a step ahead by making available, their business reports and news on an iPad. This is considered as a new revolution in the media world since they have come up with something that the business media giants like CNN or ESPN haven’t brought about yet. Where CNN and ESPN are restricted to certain subscribers, Bloomberg has made their media available to all through their new iPad broadcasting system.

Things have been made easier for the viewers’ .Now instead of sticking on to their television screens; they will be able to watch the daily stock market updates and other relevant news on their iPad. Viewers can now have a look at the upcoming content on the left hand corner of your iPad screen and set reminders as well.
The app also comprises in itself, a library of on demand and soon to come contents. It contains videos that can be downloaded for later reference. It can also be shared via the social sites like twitter, face book etc and is designed in a manner that is easily accessible to the user. They can now retrieve any important news and information with ease. The users can also avail the facility of seeing the flash news on a running ticker at the bottom of the screen.

The release of this app has 2 major aims. The first and the foremost is to supplement the iPad with the Bloomberg TV experience and enable viewers to get more relevant information just with a tap. The secondary one is to make viewers come closer to this reputed media, Bloomberg even when they are not sticked on to their TV screens through the latest iPad revolution.

Currently, this app is available only on iPad. Oke Okaro, global head of Bloomberg mobile, has initiated steps to bring the feature to Android as well. But as of now iPad is the trend and therefore the app has restrained itself to iPad.
