iPhone 4S Connectivity

It’s a big day for Apple fans coz the iPhone 4S has released. The iPhone 4S is now available on three major shippers: Sprint, AT&T and Verizon. Sprint is offering the unlimited data plan for iPhone 4S. You can make calls by dual band world phones both sprint and Verizon has that feature, now make CDMA calls from home and when you are in out of world switch on to GSM. Well Verizon’s iPhone 4 is only CDMA. Sprint said to unlock the preloaded SIM card, for iPhone 4s up on your request. Now the data hungry users will test Sprint’s network and how the carrier’s strong Android lineup will with stand the new competition. Usually the Sprint’s WiMax 3G EV-DO Rev network will deliver the average download speed of 600kbps to 1,400kbps and the average upload speed is 500kbps to 800kbps. You won’t see much difference if you are a 3G user. But if you are a user of 4G WiMax network then the change may differ you lot.

Compare to AT&T and Verizon’s, AT&T is doing the best it has a faster HSDPA 14.4 network that’s capable of 14.4 mbps download speed. The iPhone 4S has the more speed compare to iPhone 4. AT&T will limit the international GSM roaming to their specific partner. Even the AT&T has the dual mode chip inside but it has deactivated the CDMA functionality. For international travels it supports all the GSM bands like (850, 900, 8100, and 1900). Lamentably still CDMA will not permit voice and data transmission. Although new chips are coming out might are they will arrive in the next version of iPhone?

The S in the iPhone 4S stands for “speed” said by Apple because the AT&T is taking responsibilities with its new HSDPA chipset as it gives great improved download speeds. But there is a lack of 4G in Verizon and sprint; it is the biggest letdown from the 4S. Sprint iPhone 4S has superb call quality, the dual mode iPhone 4S using sprint in San Francisco you won’t get any trouble in signal. The Speaker phone calls also agreeable in this.
The iPhone 4S goes on sale on October 14 from AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in the United States. It will come in black and white and pricing starts at $199 for the 16GB version, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB.
